This 2-in-1 pneumatic floor tool was amazing when installing hardwood floors, not only did it make the task super easy for a novice such as myself, but it also helped me understand the mechanics a little better. With the mallet action for the floor tool, its as easy as setting up where to put the nail or cleat, and then simply hitting the pad on the floor tool with the provided rubber mallet.
My only complaint would be that this product cannot function on its own, to use the floor tool, you must also purchase an air compressor and I believe both should be bundled together as one is useless without the other. On that note, Bostitch has done an amazing job on this tool, the build quality, the instructions, and the safety features are all great and with the included mallet you are ready to go (once you have an air compressor).
