The Audio Technica LP120X is a great turntable for the price. It not only offers many premium features found only in higher end models but is also easy to use for those getting into listening to vinyl records. The rotor arm is the biggest upgrade between the entry line models and the LP120X as this model allows for manual control while the others are controlled by a servo motor. While this allows for more/less weight to be put on the record it must also be known that there is no automatic lift function, and the needle can damage the record if the arm is not picked up before the record finishes playing.
The overall look and feel of the turntable are amazing and the limited edition Best Buy exclusive gives an already amazing turntable and extra pop. The buttons feel good and snappy to the touch and with a changeable needle it is very easy to upgrade without having to buy another turntable. This is an amazing turntable for any vinyl enthusiast, and while it is not as great as the super end turntables it is far superior than the entry level models and a great starting point.
