Sony PlayStation 5

Overview:

The PS5 is the definition of next-generation gaming. With a new design and wide array of gaming features, the PS5 stands tall amongst its competition this generation. The PS5 is a massive console which can be placed either horizontally or vertically and comes with a stand that helps with both configurations.

The PS5 may not have launched with a ton of first party exclusive or games in general. But in the three years since its release, the number of games on the console has greatly increased, with new game releases and remasters happening almost every quarter.

The biggest improvement over the PS4 is the new DualSense controller, which now replaces the DualShock controller released with the PS4. This new controller comes equipped with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers making each game played on the console more immersive.

Honest Review

With our hands-on impression of this next-gen console, it’s safe to say Sony has hit the jackpot. With new first party game releases each quarter, the new and improved controller, and the wide selection of accessories, the PS5 has become one of the most powerful and immersive consoles ever released.

Although there are always improvements to be made – the standard PS5 comes with very limited storage (only about 800gb usable) and with each game release increasing the amount of storage required (Call of Duty) there are only a handful of games that can be stored on the console itself, with the need to upgrade storage becoming more prevalent.

If you are in the market for a console and want to pick up one with a great backlog of last gen games and amazing first party exclusives – check out the PS5, it won’t disappoint.
