I have owned and used the Ear Force Recon gaming headset for a few years now and I have always been presently surprised at how good they are for the price. While I was initially skeptical of the product because of the price, I was super surprised to find out how good they were and have since made them my go-to headset whether it be for competitive or casual gaming or just when I want to watch some videos on my phone.
While the headset is wired, it often makes for a better audio experience as there is no cuts and stops like when using a Bluetooth headset, although having both options would have been a bonus, what is provided by Turtle Beach is more than adequate. The headset is super comfortable and lightweight and can be used for hours before feeling any sort of heaviness, and with a snug fit around the ears, the headset almost becomes noise cancelling – something not advertised by Turtle Beach.
