Makita has always been a key part of the power tools and accessories industry and with many companies adopting the idea of the one battery for all tools system, its great to see Makita do the same. With this combo kit, you get two drills (a standard and an impact) and while both these tools differ, they run off the same battery, meaning all Makita power tools (the ones that need batteries) can be run using the same battery.
While many, if not most companies will sell the battery separately, in this combo kit – 2 batteries are provided as well as a charger, so no additional purchases need to be made to start using the tools. Not only is it a great value for stuff you get, but a carrying case is also included making it much easier to take the tools where you need them or just have it be a convenient and clean way to store them when not in use.
These tools are very reliable, with great build quality and design, not to mention the LED light on the drill that helps when working in poorly lit areas or just as an extra assurance.
