HITMAN World of Assassination

Overview:

Hitman World of Assassination is the entire hitman trilogy combined into one singular game. This pack includes Hitman 1, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3 as well as access to exclusive online contracts. The game revolves around Agent 47, a hired contract assassin and the various targets he is set out to eliminate.

As the story progresses, the player as Agent 47 will learn that there may be more to the contracts he is being given and that there is a shadow organization controlling the movements and the objectives of the ICA.

This game allows for many different play styles and approaches to each level, and with over 30 different and unique levels with multiple approaches the ways to eliminate the target are almost endless.

Honest Review

I had a great time playing Hitman World of Assassination, with all three games bundled into one, the opportunities to pull off the most elaborate and well thought out contracts were finally within grasp. World of Assassination takes all three separate Hitman games and puts them into one game, with one menu that lets the player easily progress the story from start to end.

The Hitman series has always been about taking a contract, planning out the hit and trying to execute with the least number of hitches possible. Over the course of the main campaign, I can safely say that my plans and ideas generally worked, but it’s when they didn’t work is where Hitman is at its best. Trying to scramble after taking someone out in view of witnesses meant having to rethink strategies, find different disguises and sometimes even having to find new routes to the target. The possibilities and play styles are almost endless, sometimes electing to go guns blazing or for a stealthier approach, and for the most part the game doesn’t penalize for which route you take.

My only complaints would be trying to finish specific objectives for each of the levels to get a sneaky kill, as many objectives seemed to drag on forever with only a few seconds of a reward at the end.
